In the last 30 years the Association Pretorese has successfully achieved its
goals of socially promoting their customs and traditions while allowing
Canadian Culture to develop between its members and the Pretorese community.
The Association Pretorese has also been actively involved in many
fund-raising activities for our community. The following are some of the
organizations who have benefited:
- The Canadian Cancer Society
- The Children's Hospital
- ST. Anthony's Church
- Villa Marconi Long Term Care
- The Canadian Diabetes Society
- Kidney Foundation
- The Juvenile Diabetes Society
- Tele-Trenta (local Italian community television
programming)
- Sponsorship of youth baseball teams
- Sponsorship of youth soccer teams
- Two (2) yearly scholarships for students pursuing a
university education
